The Fortnite island has undergone several map changes for the launch of Chapter 5 Season 3, and the makeover has resulted in a post-apocalyptic wasteland the likes of which Fortnite has never before played host to.<\/p>\n

With four new major places of interest named on the map, plus lots of smaller sites to see, this season’s map changes feel as major as any in a long time. There’s also a big emphasis on vehicle combat, so even getting from one sight to another will feel and look markedly different. Not to be confused with Fallout’s capital-w Wasteland, the new Fortnite wasteland takes stronger inspiration from Mad Max and other oil-slicked warzones from media. The orange sands kick up under the weight of your modded vehicles ready for battle and across the sprawling desert, you’ll find four new named locations.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
