Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is here<\/a>, and unlike a normal season transition, we’re swapping out everything<\/em>. All things Chapter 5 are gone, replaced with a new Chapter 2-inspired battle royale map<\/a>, an entirely new arsenal made up of throwback weapons, some of which have been overhauled with new bells and whistles, and a battle pass full of interesting re-dos of old, exclusive skins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s that new arsenal of weapons and items that’s of interest to us here, of course. In this guide, we’ll go through the new\/old slate of weapons and tools you’ll be playing with during Remix season, from the new weapons inspired by Snoop Dogg and other music icons, to the sniper rifles that you’ll be getting one-shot by over and over again.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Fortnite new weapons and items in Chapter 2 Remix<\/h3>\n

There are no<\/em> returning weapons from Season 4 at all in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix–all these newer guns are being swapped out for Chapter 2 weapons. Some of these still function as they did before, but a few have been updated with some surprising improvements. For example: Boogie Bombs will now force enemy players to dance to Snoop Dogg’s Drop It Like It’s Hot, and Eminem’s mythic mini-gun will rap Eminem lyrics when you fire it. Those changes are mostly cosmetic, though.<\/p>\n

The loot pool will change every week during Remix season, with some items staying for the whole month and others only for a week. While we don’t know the breakdown for what’s going to be in play when, we do know everything that will be added.<\/p>\n
