Star Wars: Galactic Battle<\/a> arrives in Fortnite<\/a> on May 2, and this new season brings an updated weapon pool and changes to loot. It wouldn’t be a Star Wars season without lightsabers, but other new sci-fi blasters are also included.<\/p>\n

Here we break down all the new weapons and equipment found in Star Wars: Galactic Battle, including the return of the First Order standard issue F-11 Blaster and the new Heavy CR-2 Blaster.<\/p>\n

Fortnite lightsaber types in Star Wars: Galactic Battle<\/h3>\n

Instead of being ground loot, lightsabers are earned in Galactic Battle. You must find a Star Wars character to train in the Force, or, technically, you can also just kill your opponents and loot it from their body.<\/p>\n

Find and train with hologram Rey to earn a blue lightsaber and learn Force Push<\/strong>, which shoves everything in front of you.<\/p>\n

Find and train with hologram Emperor Palpatine to earn a red lightsaber and learn Force Lightning<\/strong> for electric damage.<\/p>\n

Defeat Darth Vader Samurai to earn a different red-colored lightsaber and learn Force Saber Throw<\/strong>, which flings your lightsaber directly in front of you like a plasma boomerang.<\/p>\n

Mace Windu will appear on the island on May 8. Train with him to earn a purple lightsaber and learn Force Pull<\/strong>, which pulls in just about anything and anyone nearby.<\/p>\n

Sith Lord Darth Maul’s hologram will also arrive at a later date. Train with him to earn a red lightsaber and learn Force Throw<\/strong>. This lets you pick up objects around you and throw them as projectiles.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Other new Fortnite weapons in Star Wars: Galactic Battle<\/h3>\n

Other than lightsabers, the only weapons found on day one of Galactic Battle will be sci-fi blaster-type weapons. Since these are blasters, you’ll need to make sure you don’t hold down the trigger too long, as these weapons will overheat. Epic Games doesn’t specify when standard ballistic weapons will return.<\/p>\n
