Shimmer neither counters nor is countered by other elements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn.playdislyte.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Dislyte-Elemental-Classes-and-the-Countering-System.png\" alt=\"Dislyte Elemental Classes and the Countering System\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attackers belonging to a superior element class gain a +15% chance to trigger a Crit and +50% to Counter.<\/li>\n<li>Attackers belonging to a disadvantaged class suffer a +50% chance to Miss. Once this initial judgement has been made, if the target\u2019s RESIST minus the attacker\u2019s ACC is greater than 20%, then this amount is the target\u2019s chance to block the effect.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ACC:<\/strong>\u00a0the chance for an attacker to successfully hit a target with an ongoing negative status effect increases along with their ACC rating.<\/li>\n<li><strong>RESIST:<\/strong>\u00a0the chance for a target to block an incoming, ongoing status effect increases with their RESIST rating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Action Points (AP)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>All Espers and Miramon receive an \u201cAction Point bar\u201d. When this AP bar reaches 100%, then their turn begins.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn.playdislyte.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Action-Point-bar.png\" alt=\"Action Point bar\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Certain things modify this AP bar including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All units experience an AP increase based on their current SPD at the start of battle or the end of someone\u2019s turn.<\/li>\n<li>Many positive and negative status effects can increase or reduce AP.<\/li>\n<li>If 2 or more units reach 100% on the AP bar at the same time, whichever has the highest SPD acts first.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Cooldowns<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The vast majority of non-basic abilities can only be cast at certain preset intervals, that is, after their cooldown has elapsed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn.playdislyte.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/cooldown.png\" alt=\"cooldown\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In other words, abilities cannot be used prior to the end of their cooldown.<\/p>\n<p>A cooldown moves 1 turn closer to expiration upon the completion of its character\u2019s turn.
