Another new season of Marvel Snap<\/a> is here. Marvel Snap continues to add frequent updates throughout each month, even the long-awaited Friendly Battle mode<\/a> was released in Zabu\u2019s season. Now you can card battle your friends by creating and\/or joining lobbies. The game\u2019s newest season arrives shortly and ends the Savage Land<\/a> season that was themed around the jungle with Zabu at the forefront as the latest card through the premium season pass. Instead, this time it is M.O.D.O.K., also known as the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing making its card debut.<\/p>\n

Marvel Snap’s new season start time <\/strong><\/h2>\n

The new Marvel Snap season began at 7 PM PT \/ 10 PM ET on February 6.<\/p>\n

New Marvel Snap card<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Like the previous seasons, at least one new card, along with cosmetic variants, is expected. According to datamining and teases found online, the season will be themed around Ant-Man and The Wasp–likely no major surprise when you consider the new Ant-Man and The Wasp sequel, Quantumania<\/a>, will hit theaters in under two weeks.<\/p>\n

Marvel Snap already has several related cards such as Ant-Man<\/strong>, Wasp<\/strong>, and Yellowjacket<\/strong>. Through the dataminers of the game alongside the film\u2019s release coinciding, it is all but confirmed that the new card will be M.O.D.O.K.<\/p>\n

M.O.D.O.K. will be a 5-Cost card with 8 Power. M.O.D.O.K.\u2019s ability is an On Reveal effect that discards your entire hand<\/strong>, which would be excellent in a deck using discard abilities such as our Discardian Discord <\/strong>Pool 2<\/strong><\/a> deck or Discardian Dissonance <\/strong>Pool 3<\/strong><\/a> deck<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cards such as Ghost Rider or Hela would work in tandem with M.O.D.O.K., as well, since they both can resurrect any cards discarded through M.O.D.O.K.\u2019s usage.<\/p>\n

Alternate art and icons<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Similar to the Savage Land season, during which previous cards such as Ka-Zar and Storm received new Variants, additional cosmetic variants are expected for Into the Quantum Realm.<\/p>\n

Dataminers have found that Ant-Man and Wasp–both of which are cards currently in the game–will have new exclusive art<\/strong> to celebrate the Ant-Man and The Wasp-themed season. It is said that Wasp will even receive superbly stylized steampunk-themed card art.<\/p>\n

The new character icons will similarly include Ant-Man<\/strong>, Wasp<\/strong>, and M.O.D.O.K<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Battle pass<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The new season, as expected, revolves around M.O.D.O.K. You can purchase the premium pass for $10, or get the pass with 10 levels already unlocked for $15.<\/p>\n
