Fortnite<\/a> players have been expecting more skins based on The Witcher<\/a> franchise ever since Geralt joined the game as a part of the Chapter 4 Season 1 battle pass earlier this year, and now it’s finally happening. The item shop has been updated with skins for the dashing Ciri and the mega-powerful Yennefer of Vengerberg, and we’ve got a pair of new Witcher-flavored Creative maps where you can earn some free cosmetics.<\/p>\n

The item shop got an early reset on Friday morning to unleash Ciri, Yennefer, and their accompanying sets of cosmetics. If you were hoping for skins based on the Netflix series, sorry–like Geralt, Ciri and Yen are Gaming Legends skins<\/a> based on the CD Projekt Red video games.<\/p>\n

Ciri comes with the Zireael back bling, and you can also grab her Zireael Sword pickaxe and the Basilisk glider.<\/p>\n

Yennefer of Vengerberg, meanwhile, comes with the Bird Skull back bling, and the other Yennefer-related cosmetics are the Yennefer’s Megascope pickaxe and the creepy Black Wings emote. We’ve got to admit that using a megascope to chop down trees is pretty funny.<\/p>\n

Neither Ciri nor Yen has additional style options.<\/p>\n

Creative mode islands and free Witcher cosmetics<\/h2>\n

As before, Fortnite’s collaboration with The Witcher extends beyond the item shop. From now until July 4, there are two new Creative islands inspired by The Witcher you can play to earn some free rewards. Ciri’s Escape (island code 2776-4034-8400<\/strong>) and Yennefer’s Battleground (island code 2862-9616-5689<\/strong>) will be available until July 4 at 5 PM PT \/ 8 PM ET.<\/p>\n

Playing Ciri’s map will earn you the Confident Ciri emoticon, playing Yen’s map will get you the Annoyed Yennefer emoticon, and completing them both will net you the Tale of Two Tempests banner.<\/p>\n
