Let’s take a look at the characters:
- Phoenix: This character is fast and has good control over damage. If you like being quick and aggressive in battles, Phoenix is a great choice.
- Vanguard: The Vanguard character is all about increasing strength and dealing high damage per second (DPS). If dealing heavy damage is your priority, go with the Vanguard.
- Erudite: If you prefer using versatile spells and enjoy powerful bursts of magic, the Erudite character is for you. They rely more on magic attacks than melee weapons.
- Monk: The Monk character has high defense and control abilities, making them a valuable asset in group battles. They are great for protecting your friends and taking on a lot of damage.
- Mechanist: If you prefer ranged attacks and accurate shots, the Mechanist character is a good choice. You can attack enemies from a distance rather than getting up close.

Astral Odyssey Stats Introduction
No matter which character you choose, they all have the same initial stats. However, you can improve these stats as you progress in the game. Before we dive into the details of these stats, let’s understand some important character attributes.

Level: This represents the level of your character. You can increase your level by earning experience points (EXP). Completing quests and defeating enemies are common ways to earn EXP.
CP (Character Power): This is a number that indicates the overall strength of your character. The higher the CP, the more powerful your character is considered to be.
Your character has both basic and advanced stats, which can be enhanced through various means such as upgrading your gear.
Basic Stats:
- HP: Your character’s health points, indicating how much damage they can withstand.
- Armor Penetration: The ability to bypass an enemy’s armor and deal more damage.
- HP Increase: The amount by which your character’s maximum health can be increased.
- Armor Increase: The enhancement to your character’s armor, reducing the damage they take.
- HP Recovery: The rate at which your character naturally regains health.
- ATK (Attack): The power of your character’s attacks.
- DEF (Defense): The ability to resist incoming damage.
- ATK Increase: The potential increase in your character’s attack power.
- DEF Increase: The potential increase in your character’s defense.
Advanced Stats:
- DMG AMP (Damage Amplification): Increases the damage dealt by your character’s skills.
- Absolute DMG: Boosts the overall damage output of your character.
- Skill DMG Res (Skill Damage Resistance): Reduces the damage taken from enemy skills.
- Absolute DMG Res: Decreases the overall damage received.
- DMG RED (Damage Reduction): Lowers the damage taken from all sources.
- Skill DMG: Enhances the damage dealt by your character’s skills.
- Ignore DEF: Allows your character’s attacks to bypass the enemy’s defense.
In addition to advanced stats, there are two more categories: masterpiece stats and rare stats.
Masterpiece Stats:
- Crit (Critical Hit): Increases the chance of landing critical hits for extra damage.
- Crit DMG (Critical Damage): Amplifies the damage inflicted by critical hits.
- Perception Strike: Enhances the accuracy of your character’s attacks.
- Perception Penetration: Improves the ability to penetrate an enemy’s defenses.
- EXP Potential: Boosts the rate at which your character gains EXP.
- Crit RES (Critical Hit Resistance): Reduces the chance of your character receiving critical hits.
- Perception RES: Increases resistance against accuracy-enhancing effects.
- Perception Counterforce: Strengthens your character’s ability to counter enemy attacks.
Rare Stats:
- DMG RED Chance: Increases the chance of reducing incoming damage.
- Reveal Chance: Raises the chance of revealing hidden enemies.
- Dodge Chance: Enhances the likelihood of successfully dodging enemy attacks.
- Pursuit Chance: Increases the chance of successfully pursuing and attacking enemies.
- Block Chance: Improves the chance of blocking incoming attacks.
- Ignore DMG RED: Allows your character’s attacks to bypass damage reduction effects.
- Ignore Reveal: Enables your character to attack hidden enemies directly.
- Ignore Dodge: Allows your character’s attacks to bypass enemy dodging effects.
- Ignore Pursuit: Enables your character to attack enemies even if they are trying to evade.
- Ignore Block: Allows your character’s attacks to bypass enemy blocking effects.
These stats and attributes play a crucial role in determining your character’s abilities and effectiveness in battles. As you progress in the game, you can focus on improving specific stats that align with your preferred playstyle.
Astral Odyssey Combat System Introduction
The combat system in Astral Odyssey is similar to popular mobile games like Mobile Legends and League of Legends: Wild Rift. You can customize the controls to your liking using NoxPlayer’ controls editor. You can even use a gamepad, which is great for games with combat systems like this.

To control your character’s movement, you use the analog stick located at the bottom-left corner of the screen. By default, your character moves on foot, but you can summon a mount to travel faster by pressing the Mount button. This comes in handy when you need to reach faraway places quickly. All attacks are performed using buttons placed at the bottom-right side of the screen.
- Basic Attack: This is the biggest button, and it allows your character to launch a basic attack against enemies. You can press it repeatedly since it doesn’t have a cooldown.
- Skills: These are four smaller buttons surrounding the Attack button. Each button activates one of your character’s skills. If you’re playing for free, you can only use the first two skills. However, if you purchase the VIP1 Pack, you unlock the third skill, and the VIP3 Pack unlocks the fourth skill. Using a skill triggers a short cooldown before you can use it again.
- Transform: This button is located next to the first skill button. It activates your character’s “ultimate” attack. When you use this, your character temporarily transforms into a powerful entity and gains a significant damage boost. This is particularly useful when facing bosses with high health points. However, this attack has the longest cooldown compared to the other attacks.
Fortunately, you don’t always have to control your character manually. The game has an Auto mode that takes care of the fighting for you. This mode is useful when you want to enter idle mode, allowing your character to fight enemies and gather experience points and resources while you’re away. You can enable or disable Auto mode by pressing the Auto button located on top of the in-game chat box.
Astral Odyssey Gear Introduction
Your character can wear up to 10 pieces of gear to make them stronger. Each gear piece improves certain basic stats. You can also upgrade each gear piece to make the stat benefits even better.
You can usually find gear by defeating enemies. Gear comes in different rarities, which determine how strong they are. The rarity of the gear is shown by the color of its background. Brighter and lighter background colors mean the gear is rarer. For example, gear with a gold background is rarer than gear with a purple background, and purple gear is rarer than blue gear.
Astral Odyssey Bosses and Dungeons Introduction
Fantasy RPGs wouldn’t be complete without challenging bosses and exciting dungeons, and Astral Odyssey has plenty of them to offer.
There are three types of bosses in the game: Labyrinth Boss, Forbidden Boss, and Personal Boss. Each boss category differs in terms of the rewards they give, difficulty level, and the number of attempts you have to defeat them. Some bosses may have special conditions, such as Personal Bosses giving better rewards if you defeat them quickly. As you progress and level up in the game, you’ll unlock new bosses to challenge. However, keep in mind that you have a limited number of attempts to fight and defeat each boss. The good news is that these attempts can be refilled after a certain amount of time.
Dungeons in Astral Odyssey consist of multiple floors. The goal is to clear each floor to unlock the next one. Every floor has its own boss that you must defeat within a specific time limit. When you successfully defeat a boss, you’ll receive clearance rewards. These rewards will be sent to your in-game mailbox at 5:00 A.M. according to the server time. So make sure to check your mailbox for those rewards!
