Razer Launches New Kishi V2 Pro Controllers For Mobile Gaming

The original Razer Kishi helped change the game for the mobile controller market thanks to its Switch-like form factor, reliable performance, and ergonomic design. Razer later updated its design with the Razer Kishi V2, and it’s now releasing a Pro version of the gamepad–which offers a bunch of premium enhancements.

Regardless of which you pick, you’ll be treated to HyperSense Haptics for premium rumble, native support for Xbox Cloud Gaming and Xbox Remote Play, and an expandable design that ensures it’ll fit around most Android smartphones.

Toss in passthrough charging, a 3.5mm audio jack, and the ability to remap touchscreen buttons to the gamepad, and it’s clear Razer is positioning the V2 Pro as one of the most feature-complete controllers of 2023.

The $130 price is a bit steep (and the Xbox version is an additional $10), but if you’re an avid mobile gamer, there might be enough cool tech packed into the V2 Pro to justify the price.

Meanwhile, the standard Kishi V2 is now available for iPhone, offering console-quality controls for all your mobile streaming needs. It’s listed for $120, while the older Android version is now on sale for $90 at Amazon. Consider checking them out if you want a powerful mobile companion that’s a bit cheaper than the new V2 Pro.

For non-Razer mobile controllers, you should also consider the Backbone One controller for $100, if you’re looking for an Android gamepad (the Backbone One is also available for iOS). Another option is PowerA’s MOGA XP7-X, which has a decidedly Xbox look and is up for grabs for $20 off right now.
