Magic: The Gathering Secretversary Superdrop Features Lara Croft, Dinosaurs, And Shirtless Jeff Goldblum

In December 2019, Wizards of the Coast introduced the Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair sub-brand, which offers curated selections of cards called “drops” for a limited time. To celebrate the initiative’s fourth anniversary, the company has announced the Secretversary Superdrop, with nine new drops offering over 40 new and reprinted cards.

Two of the drops in the Secretversary Superdrop are themed around Jurassic World, with one featuring multiple dinosaurs and the other centered around Jeff Goldblum’s Dr. Ian Malcolm. Another drop introduces Tomb Raider to the trading card game, with a drop that includes a unique creature card for Lara Croft herself.

Tomb Raider is the latest video game franchise to see a Secret Lair drop, with Street Fighter and Fortnite both receiving drops in 2022. Jurassic World–which also features in the recent Lost Caversn Of Ixalan expansion–joins Evil Dead, The Princess Bride, and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves on the list of movie-themed Secret Lair drops.

Below is a list of details for each drop, which includes images of the cards as well as the overarching theme. All of these drops are available now on the official MTG Secret Lair website in foil and non-foil variants, and they can be selected by drop or in bundles for discounted prices.
