Zenless Zone Zero Releases 2024, New Character-Filled Trailer Debuts At The Game Awards

Zenless Zone Zero, the cyberpunk action game from Hoyoverse, is officially arriving in 2024. The new trailer debuted during The Game Awards and features a ton of characters and the announcement that the game is releasing “soon.”

In addition to the release date window, the new trailer gave a look at several factions of characters that will be in Zenless Zone Zero. While it’s not clear if every character will be playable, most named characters are in Hoyoverse’s games. The factions include a group of maids, a group with a giant bear in a suit, and a group called Gentle House, which features a cat girl.

The trailer also shows a bunch of combat, which appears to take the form of one-on-one fighting against a large enemy. The combat seems like it will play more similarly to a Dark Souls-like game, albeit likely to not be anywhere as difficult. The game also features roguelike elements and will have a series of small rooms to progress through, similar to Hades.

Zenless Zone Zero releases in 2024 on PC and mobile. While a console version has not been announced, Hoyoverse’s last two releases have come to PlayStation. For more on The Game Awards, check out GameSpot’s round-ups of every game announcement and every award winner.
