GTA 3, Vice City, And San Andreas Now Available Free Through Netflix

The Netflix Games catalog continues to grow, as the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is out now on the platform at no extra cost to subscribers.

Alternatively, the games within the collection–GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas–are available for individual purchase for $20 each on iOS and Android.

The games have a range of updates and improvements over their original iterations, made possible in part through machine learning and AI, while a “Classic Lighting” mode allows players to revert to the original look of the sky in the first edition of each game. These games are also out now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, where they have together sold more than 10 million copies. The games originally launched in November 2021, having been developed by Grove Street Games. They had a number of bugs and issues at launch, and updates over time have improved the experience.

People who subscribe to GTA+, meanwhile, can get all the games within The Definitive Edition for nothing extra.

In other news, Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PlayStation Plus for Extra and Premium subscribers this month, and that’s a good way to catch up on the series before GTA VI launches in 2025.
