Samsung Galaxy S24 Has Some Enticing Preorder Offers – Reservations Available Now

We’re just a week away from the Samsung Unpacked 2024 event on January 17, where Samsung plans to reveal the “next Galaxy device,” which is ostensibly the Galaxy S24. Despite no official reveal, Samsung is already gearing up for preorders with a bevy of limited-time promotional offers that can save you hundreds of dollars when you reserve and purchase the “next galaxy device” at Samsung’s online store or the Shop Samsung App.

The first offer is a $50 Samsung gift card for anyone who reserves and then preorders the next Galaxy phone. Note that “reserving” and “preordering” are two separate things. You can reserve a device for free by signing up with your name and email at Samsung’s website. This gives you an opportunity to preorder once they’re available. It’s worth stressing that you can change your mind–you don’t have to put down any cash to secure a reservation. However, you will need to complete your preorder purchase once they’re available to get the store credit.

While we don’t know how much the new Galaxy device will cost, Samsung will let customers preorder a qualifying device for the price of the same model with a smaller storage space option. So for example, if the Galaxy S24 comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options, you can preorder the 512GB for the price of the 256GB model, or the 1TB model for the price of the 512GB version (note that these are just hypothetical specs). You can then reduce the preorder price even further when you trade in your current smartphone. Final trade-in value is determined by Samsung.

On top of those discounts and the $50 reservation credit, Samsung will throw in an additional Samsung store credit for $25, $75, or $100 depending on which model you purchase.

These Samsung Galaxy deals are only available during the pre-order period for the new Galaxy smartphones while supplies last, so it’s worth reserving your device ahead of the January 17 Samsung Unpacked event to make sure you can preorder once they’re on sale.

Next week’s Samsung Unpacked event isn’t the only big tech reveal happening. CES 2024 also kicked off this week, bringing tons of big PC and mobile hardware announcements like Nvidia’s new GeForce 40 series GPUs, new gaming laptops from Razer, and the MSI Claw Steam Deck competitor.
